‍Structures of Unfeeling is an exhibition and learning environment aimed at fostering public dialogue around sexualised violence. Initiated by the research group SOHERE and marking the conclusion of Joseph Baans’ residency at BINZ39, the project conspires with a diverse group of practitioners from the fields of art, education, music, performance, dramaturgy, and academia, who have all in different ways been impacted and inscribed by histories of sexualised violence. The programme offers a space for conversation, collective thinking, and making, providing a discursive framework to explore the subject through aesthetic, material, embodied, and theoretical approaches. Events will be held at BINZ39 and Tanzhaus Zürich.
